Announcing Traq v3.8.4
We're pleased to announce the release of Traq v3.8.4, a maintenance update focused on performance, reliability, and a more consistent experience across the app. While development continues on Traq v3.9, this release keeps the 3.8 line in good shape with improvements to search, attachments, accounts, and rendering.
What's New in v3.8.4?
This release tightens up several everyday workflows:
Faster Project Search
Search now reuses project data that's already been loaded instead of fetching it again. Searching across projects should feel snappier, especially on installs with several projects.
More Reliable Attachments
File attachments have been tightened up end to end. Uploads are handled more carefully, and downloads follow a cleaner, more predictable path — so attachments behave more consistently without changing how you use them.
Smoother Accounts and Login
Account validation is more consistent, and a login redirect issue has been fixed so you land where you expected after signing in.
Cleaner Rendering and Frontend
Text previews, page output, and frontend assets now share the same helpers, so HTML, XML, and JavaScript are generated more consistently. The roadmap also has a sensible default sort, and the installer has received a few small reliability tweaks.
